The shoulder joint anatomy

Shoulder joint is considered as one of the most flexible joint in the human body. It is formed by a group of humerus, shoulder blade (scapula), and the collarbone (clavicle). The shoulder joint is made up of two separate joints- acromioclavicular joints and the glenohumeral joint. The shoulder joint is a ball-and-socket joint that allows the arm to rotate and made movements. There are muscles, tendons and ligaments, with the help of which the shoulder is held in place.
