Respiratory Disorders

We don’t think much about breathing, because we consider it as an involuntary reflex action. Believe it or not, each breather is an “achievement” for millions of people who suffer from respiratory disorders all over the world. Those are the patients suffering from chronic lung problems such as asthma, bronchitis and emphysema. It also includes some of the life-threatening entities like bacterial pneumonia, pulmonary embolism and lung cancer.

The main role of the respiratory system is to supply the blood with oxygen in order for the blood to deliver oxygen to all regions of the body. Respiratory system does this function through the process of breathing. During the process of breathing, we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. This interchange of gases is the respiratory system’s means of bringing oxygen to the blood. Respiratory system also removes body wastes and filters out infectious agents from the body.

Even though the lungs can prevent abuse in the form of smoke and other pollutants, a number of disorders weaken its function. If left untreated some of these can and will be fatal. Don’t take your breathing problem or rather cough lightly! Get it checked immediately. Take care of your lungs in the best possible way..
